Visit Us
Planning a trip to Iceland? Be sure to visit us in, Vestmannaeyjar, off the south coast of Iceland, just a 30 minute ferry ride from famous Seljalandsfoss. Open seasonally, from April to October, explore our Visitor Centre or take a boat trip to learn more about the residents of the world's first beluga whale sanctuary!
All the money raised from ticket sales helps us to provide the best possible care for Little White and Little Grey and the other animals in our care.
Our Visitor Centre located in Vestmannaeyjar Harbour includes:
- Iceland´s only Puffin Rescue Centre
- Native species aquarium
- Educational displays about the beluga whales and our sanctuary
The sea sanctuary is located in nearby Klettsvik Bay, a short boat trip away from our Visitor Centre. Seasonally, we will run carefully managed boat trips to visit the bay, which allow you to view the belugas home from a discreet distance.
