Our Current Positions
Animal Care Manager (Curator)
Imagine waking up each day knowing your work is helping shape the future of one of the world's most unique marine conservation projects.
At the SEA LIFE TRUST Beluga Whale Sanctuary, you'll lead an experienced team dedicated to providing world-class care for Little Grey and Little White, our resident belugas, while also overseeing the welfare of rescued puffins and our aquarium collection.
If you're an inspiring leader with extensive experience working with cetaceans or large marine mammals, we'd love to hear from you.
As our Animal Care Manager (Curator), you'll lead all aspects of animal care, welfare and husbandry across the sanctuary.
Working closely with the General Manager and the wider SEA LIFE TRUST and Merlin Entertainments teams, you'll ensure our animals receive exceptional care while supporting scientific research, conservation, education and unforgettable guest experiences.
You'll lead, coach and develop a passionate team of animal care professionals whilst ensuring the highest standards of welfare, safety and operational excellence.
Animal Care Supervisor
Have you ever dreamed of working alongside beluga whales in one of the world's most extraordinary marine environments?
We're looking for an experienced and passionate Animal Care Supervisor to help lead our dedicated animal care team, delivering exceptional welfare for our resident beluga whales while supporting the rehabilitation of rescued puffins.
As our Animal Care Supervisor, you'll play a key leadership role within the Animal Care team, helping to deliver the highest standards of animal welfare, husbandry and training.
Working closely with the Animal Care Manager (Curator), you'll supervise the day-to-day care of our belugas, support the operation of our Puffin Rescue Centre and help develop a high-performing team committed to excellence.
Office Administrator
Do you love animals...and spreadsheets?
We're looking for an exceptional Office Administrator to join our team at the world's first beluga whale sanctuary.
This isn't your typical office job.
One minute you'll be helping our UK Finance team process invoices and budgets, the next you'll be coordinating VIP guest experiences, translating Icelandic documents into English, or supporting conservation projects that help protect marine life.
If you're someone who loves organisation, thrives on solving problems and enjoys making everything run smoothly behind the scenes, we'd love to hear from you.
And yes... you'll be working just steps away from Little Grey and Little White, our two rescued beluga whales.
Puffling Season Volunteer
As a Puffin Rescue volunteer, you'll play a vital role in the day-to-day care of rescued seabirds while helping visitors connect with our conservation work.
From supporting rehabilitation behind the scenes to inspiring guests with the stories of the puffins in our care, every task contributes to giving these incredible birds the best possible chance of returning to the wild.
