Lone beluga whale in Norway
Sunday, 12 July 2020
Like many of you, we’ve been following the latest updates regarding Hvaldimir, the lone beluga whale in Norway. We are engaged in conversations with people connected to those monitoring him and are very keen to do what we can to help this beluga whale. Our foremost priority at the moment is the forthcoming move and welfare of the current Sanctuary residents, Little White and Little Grey. All being well with them, we are planning to complete their move to the sea sanctuary in Klettsvik Bay within the next few weeks. Once they are in the sanctuary we will be able to look at how our team and facility are best positioned to be able to help Hvaldimir and are completely open to continued discussion with those involved at that point to agree what is best for him.
