Little Grey and Little White continue to settle in well

Sanctuary Update

Little Grey and Little White are doing well and have been feeding nicely over the weekend. Our vets and care team are happy with their progress and they are settling in nicely to their temporary care pool home.

Little Grey and Little White will need to stay in the care pool for a 40 day quarantine period. The timing of their release in to the bay will be based on this, their acclimatisation to the new surroundings and their welfare.

Our Visitor Centre, aquarium and puffin rescue centre remain open.

Guests should be aware that when the ‘Behind The Scenes’ area does open the care pool will not be a viewing experience but a working active assessment care pool and therefore any visits will be carefully managed with the priority being the welfare of Little Grey and Little White.

The Cargolux pilots visited the SEA LIFE TRUST Beluga Whale Sanctuary to ensure their VIP passengers were doing well. The journey could not have taken place without their expertise and hard work.
